Share to your grid
Have you ever wanted to share a post but not alert your followers? Well, good news. Instagram has just rolled out the option to share directly into your profile grid without alerting your followers. You can share a post without alerting your followers by pressing the box with a plus at the top right hand side of your feed and click ‘share to profile grid’.
Expanded editing tools
Expanded editing tools are here for reels! Instagram has introduced undo and redo tools, improved audio browsing and the addition of new text-to-speech voices and fonts, allowing for more creative automation.
Profile cards with QR codes
Sharing your profile with new people has never been easier. Instead of exchanging usernames and swapping phones to type in your username, Instagram has released profile cards. Go to your profile and click ‘share profile’ to bring up a QR code that links directly to you! This update is streamlining user connections and making it easier to share profiles at in-person events.
Story highlights are on the move!
If you haven’t yet, now is the time to spruce up your story highlights. Instagram is aiming to declutter our profiles and the first move is to bring our highlights from circles inside our info box into our main feed. The highlights will be pinned at the top of the feed so make sure they match your aesthetic.
