Magic Marketing Campaigns

Have you ever seen a brand’s marketing campaign and thought… Wow?! We certainly have and we want to highlight some recent physical and digital marketing campaigns that showcase creativity, authenticity and fun!

Jacquemus Launching Their Capri Shop

Utilising UGC style content Jacquemus have been posting fantastic professionally filmed UGC style content to their Instagram. Videos of models towing a boat full of clothes in the sea, a huge map in the centre of Capri with their branding, even ironing on a surfboard.

We love how Jacquemus understands the way we have begun to consume media. Making this campaign incredibly watchable by showing us the fun a luxury brand can have with original ideas using Capri’s landmarks matched with professional aesthetically pleasing filming and editing.

Specsavers Van

Earlier this year Specsavers did a marketing stunt that got the whole of the UK talking. Their van stuck bum end on a bollard evoked a sense of hilarity. Not only is the van in its own right a funny physical gag but, psychologically what Specsavers have done is set up the stunt to be funny in line with the launch of their catchphrase ‘Should’ve Gone To Specsavers’ way back in 2002.

A genius marketing campaign bringing their universally known catchphrase into the physical space.

DASH Blast Over Coca Cola

A cheeky little bash at Coke, sparkling water brand DASH makes soft drinks you feel good about drinking and they reiterated the point with their Camden billboard.

DASH don’t only want to showcase their product on a huge billboard, they’re nudging the drinks giant into giving up artificial sweeteners and seeking healthier alternatives. We love the big bold statement the billboard makes and we hope your legal team took a nice long holiday for the duration of the campaign.

Jo Malone X Paddington

A charming exclusive collection in collaboration with Paddington The Bear! The fragrance is inspired by Paddington’s love for marmalade sandwiches, with the campaign video featuring a very cute and very fluffy Paddington bear, being carried around whilst two passengers get into mischief due to a delayed train.

A charming celebration of British heritage with the sweetest illustrations, exclusive Jo Malone blue ribbon and stuffed bear to go with. We love it!

Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘Leaked’ Email

When an email specifically meant for the internal marketing team at Charlotte Tilbury was leaked TikTok went crazy. A masterclass in creating buzz through the illusion of exclusivity, people ate up the information they shouldn’t have known.

Such a simple concept, but such a wonderful and effective way to not only push a new product but up its exclusivity.

Leaked email with influencers face over the top.

Which one of these marketing campaigns was your favourite? And can you think of any we might have missed this time around?
